Kurt became associated with PrimeSource Mortgage, Inc. early in its history when he served on the advisory board for President Jeffrey Smith.  In 2003 he became the owner of the Roswell Branch and directed it successfully, winning the Branch of the Year Award in 2005.  In 2004 he became the corporate secretary and in 2005, the corporate treasurer.  Now serving as the Corporate Financial Officer (CFO), Kurt Gass is responsible for all financial assets of PSMH as well as the accounting and reporting to the shareholders and the public.

After graduating from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a    degree in accounting and  economics in 1980, Kurt worked for three years as the CFO for Bolton Oil Company in Artesia, New Mexico.  For the next seventeen years he was the CFO and part owner of Armstrong Construction Company in Roswell, New Mexico.

Kurt’s grassroots experience with PSMI, his understanding of the mortgage industry, and 20 years of experience as a CFO provide him with wisdom and knowledge that make him a valuable board member.  Kurt is a man of integrity and high standards; he is a man with a concern to see the company grow profitably and is dedicated to preserving the fine reputation of PrimeSource Mortgage.
